Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• Call required every other week from Friday end of shift to Monday 7:00 AM
• Weekend coverage required per department need
• 24-hour orientation provided
• 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Siemens experience strongly preferred
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications: ARMRIT, ARRT MR, BLS (either specialty certification accepted)
• Must be able to work with patients of all ages including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of approximately 50 patients
• Work in 5-room MRI department
• Perform various MRI procedures including brain, spine, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and specialized imaging
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration required
• Must be comfortable starting peripheral IVs
• On-site drug screening required with comprehensive panel testing
• Must have active license before start date (pending license accepted with submission)
• Expected to work some holidays
• Documentation due 3 business days prior to start date
