RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• On-call schedule as needed with every other weekend requirement
• Plans, manages and coordinates professional nursing care for surgical patients
• Provides specialized care and treatment in General, Ortho, Vascular, Trauma, and Neuro surgeries
• Scrubs or circulates surgical cases while maintaining AORN standards
• Directs and supervises ancillary nursing personnel
• Works collaboratively with all health team members
• Handles emergency or crisis situations in unpredictable environments
• Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS, ACLS
• 3+ years nursing experience and 1 year travel experience required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Previous charge experience and trauma level experience preferred
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• 20 hours of orientation required with additional e-learning modules
• 7-year work history verification required
• All certifications must be AHA certified and current at time of submission
