RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of recent, relevant experience in medical-surgical/telemetry units required
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Weekend coverage required
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: CA RN, BLS, ACLS (all certs must be AHA or American Red Cross)
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Skills include: accessing/managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line blood draw, chest tubes, continuous bladder irrigation, feeding tube care, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula, telemetry monitoring, wound care/wound vac, and many other medical-surgical skills
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 50 mile travel requirement applies
• Only one holiday will be approved for requested time off
• 7-year work history verification required
• Modules completed during orientation through e-learning system
• 2 references obtained within the last year required
