Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech
Job Details:
• Work 4x9 hour shifts, Monday through Friday with variable day shifts
• Primary shift hours 7:15 AM to 4:45 PM at MedCenter for Women Greensboro location
• Potential occasional float to ARMC on Monday & Wednesday only from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Rare potential float to MC Women & Children's unit (24/7 operation) working 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on weekends
• No call responsibilities required
• Float required as needed to other Cone Health campuses
• Minimum 2 years of experience required, first time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, RDMS-OB with MFM experience, ARDMS, ARDMS OB/GYN
• EPIC charting system experience required, AS OB Reporting required
• Equipment: Samsung Hera W10 and Samsung RS 85 Prestige ultrasound machines
• Perform perinatal ultrasound for high risk patients including anatomy scans, Dopplers, and transvaginal procedures
• AIUM accredited facility procedures including PACS, Amniocentesis, and Chronic Villi Sampling
• Outpatient experience required, teaching hospital experience preferred
• Handle approximately 8 visits per day focusing on OB/GYN and high risk obstetrics
• Must pass mandatory Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• Complete 20 hours of orientation and 2-4 hours of non-billable modules
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
