Opportunity:

Job Details:

• Work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday schedule
• Weekend call and holiday call with call-back responsibilities required
• Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles required
• Minimum 2 years current experience in large OR setting required
• Must be able to scrub and work in fast-paced environment
• Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment
• Experience preferred in Neuro, Ortho, Transplants, Robot, or Vascular procedures
• Ortho, EENT, and/or vascular experience a plus
• Epic experience preferred but not required (on-site training available)
• Must be flexible team player accustomed to high-volume surgical environment
• Required certifications: New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License, BLS through AHA, AHS, or American Red Cross
• Preferred certifications: PALS and ACLS
• Required education: Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
• Provide direct patient care using nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and coordinate patient care with healthcare team
• Assume clinical supervision responsibilities for LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel
• Complete patient population/age-specific/procedure education and competency testing per unit standards
