Opportunity:

RN - Cardiovascular

Job Details:

• Work 36 hours per week minimum on a 13-week contract with option to renew
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Rotating holidays required
• Med-Surg & StepDown experience required
• One year of nursing experience required
• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Assist physicians in examination of patients and performing minor diagnostic procedures
• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Interact with family and patients regarding care plans and discharge planning
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
• Required certifications: Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC), Current Basic Life Support (AHA), ACLS (American Heart Association)
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Computer skills and ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients
