Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Technologist I

Job Details:

• Work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• On-call responsibilities once per month
• Entry-level position working under immediate to general supervision with mentor/preceptor guidance
• Provide specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and pediatric patients
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders
• Utilize highly specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment for diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures
• Perform post-procedure reviews to ensure completion and technical quality standards
• Transfer images and data to archival systems and enter technical findings
• Conduct operator-level quality control checks and equipment maintenance
• Must be graduate of CAAHEP accredited cardiovascular program or JRCERT accredited radiologic technology program
• Required certifications: CT Certification (ARRT) within 12 months of hire, AHA BLS
• Must demonstrate knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and remain calm in stressful situations
• Strong communication skills for working with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams
• Must maintain accurate records and handle confidential information with discretion
