Opportunity:

RN - MS/Stepdown

Job Details:

• Must have Medical/Surgical/Progressive Care Unit experience
• Level 1 and travel experience required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary
• Administer medications as prescribed and manage intravenous infusions and blood products
• Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge procedures
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
• Required certifications: Current RN License issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN License (eNLC), Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association
• Required education: Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program
• Preferred education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher
• Must demonstrate knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Basic computer skills necessary
