Opportunity:

RN - PICU

Job Details:

• Work 0.9 night shift schedule
• Start dates available: 1/5/26 or 1/19/26
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3 for holding pediatric or SAC status patients
• Weekend shifts as needed by the unit
• On-call/call back shifts as needed
• Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles required
• Utilize nursing process to provide direct patient care to assigned group of patients
• Provide safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individual patient needs and responses
• Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols
• Identify and meet patient and family learning and discharge needs
• Provide clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel
• Complete patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing
• Must have Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience required
• Two years current experience in 12+ bed Pediatric Intensive Care unit required
• Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment
• Pediatric CVICU experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Required certifications: New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License, BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• BLS and PALS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross
• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required
