Opportunity:

Cardiovascular Technologist - CV Tech

Job Details:

• Perform Adult Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Devices, Electrophysiology and/or Structural Heart procedures
• Float between departments and local locations within 20 miles as required
• Perform scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring/recording duties for diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Ensure complete and accurate documentation of all procedures
• Maintain accurate medication, charge, and reporting accuracy of daily procedural case load
• Respond and provide emergent care when needed
• Perform administrative tasks including ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring equipment maintenance
• Maintain cleanliness and preparedness of procedure rooms
• Ensure compliance with PHS, Local and Federal regulations
• Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environment
• Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment
• 1+ years of adult Cath lab diagnostic and interventional procedure experience required
• 3 years of adult Cath lab diagnostic, interventional, or EP procedures experience preferred
• Associate's Degree in Invasive Cardiovascular/Cardiopulmonary Technologist program, Radiology, Respiratory Therapy, Paramedic program, or Surgical Technology required (4 years of experience can substitute for degree)
• Required certifications: RCIS or RCES, BLS, ACLS
• PALS required at Presbyterian Downtown location
