Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Call is rotated for nights and weekends
• One year of nursing experience required
• Assumes responsibility for assigned group of patients
• Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Assists physicians in examination of patients and performing minor diagnostic procedures
• Obtains and monitors physiological data of patients
• Administers medications as prescribed and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products
• Interacts with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge instructions
• Makes referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel
• Delegates tasks to support staff
• Required certifications: Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC), Current BLS from American Heart Association, ACLS from American Heart Association
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Computer skills and ability to respond to cultural and language needs of patients
