Description
Opportunity:
RN - NICU
Job Details:
• Work day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Must be able to float throughout all of children's hospital departments
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited program required
• BSN preferred
• Current Oklahoma nursing license or current multistate compact RN license required
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification required
• NRP (American Heart Association) certification required
• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Assist physicians in examination of patients and performing minor diagnostic procedures
• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Interact with family and patients to share care plans
• Delegate tasks to support staff
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Computer skills required
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
