Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex under general supervision
• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients in operating room environment
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Assist physicians in examination of patients and performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatment
• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients, observing physiological manifestations and intervening when necessary
• Administer medications as prescribed and initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Interact with family and patients regarding care plans during hospitalization and at discharge
• Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
• Eye experience is preferred
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Current RN License issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required
• Current Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association required
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques and procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Computer skills required
