Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Technologist I

Job Details:

• Work Friday, Saturday, Sunday shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM with on-call requirements once per month
• Entry-level position working under immediate to general supervision of a mentor/preceptor
• Provide specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and pediatric patient populations
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician-ordered procedures
• Utilize highly specialized cardiovascular and radiologic equipment to perform diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures
• Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure completion and technical quality meets department protocols
• Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting
• Perform quality control checks, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment per manufacturer guidelines
• Must be graduate of CAAHEP accredited cardiovascular program or JRCERT accredited radiologic technology program
• Must meet CT Certification (ARRT) eligibility requirements and achieve certification within 12 months of hire
• AHA BLS certification required
• Must demonstrate ability to work independently with minimum supervision and maintain attention to detail
• Required to participate in continuing education and professional development activities
• Must be able to work as part of a team and consistently report to work as scheduled
