Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Job Details:
• Schedule patient transportation and coordinate with general anesthesia, med/surg teams, inpatient chemo pharmacy, and intensive care units to minimize delays
• Create procedural orders when necessary and confirm patient identity and procedural consent
• Monitor acceptable lab values and procedure contraindications, communicating variances to attending physician
• Maintain room procedure sheets documenting procedures performed and supplies used
• Input procedural information including biopsy passes, intravascular pressure measurements, lines, drains, and mechanical thrombectomy attempts
• Document fluoroscopy time and dose measurements, sedation amounts, and intravenous contrast usage
• Ensure proper primary and secondary procedural coding based on diagnostics and interventions
• Complete image manipulation and transmission to IMPAX from various equipment units
• Provide high-quality multi-modality imaging support during interventional procedures using fluoroscopic, ultrasound, and computed tomography equipment
• Perform portable interventional procedures requiring ultrasound equipment
• Support clinical partners including operating room radiologic technologists and cardiac cath specialists
• Perform image post-processing and quality assurance of images
• Conduct systems checks and quality control testing on equipment
• Clean radiographic equipment and procedural suites
• Operate single plane and bi-plane digital imaging systems, ultrasound, CT scan, IVUS, power injector, and other specialized equipment
• Describe exams to patients, position patients on procedural tables, and assist with hemodynamic monitoring
• Prepare patients for procedures using sterile technique
• Assist interventional proceduralist as first assist with sterile back table and supply management
• Practice optimum radiation protection for patients and staff
• IR, NIR and vascular experience required
• Siemens experience preferred
• Local candidates will be reviewed first
• Accredited Associate's Degree or completion of accredited Radiologic Sciences Program required
• ARRT certification required with maintained registry status and continuing education requirements
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• English proficiency required for reading, writing, and speaking

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
