Description
Opportunity:
RN - Cardiovascular
Job Details:
• Work on a mixed cardiovascular floor with 24 beds - 12 step-down and 12 medical-surgical
• Cardiac experience required with stepdown/PCU experience preferred
• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
• Must be familiar with chest tubes, cardiac drips, and combination med-surg/step-down care
• Participate in cardiac rehabilitation and pre/post procedure care as well as cardiac stabilizations
• May be required to interpret EKGs and monitor cardiac rhythms and rates
• Collaborate with cardiac rehabilitation, education, and discharge planning teams
• Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Assist physicians in examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Obtain and monitor physiological data, observe patient manifestations and intervene when necessary
• Administer medications as prescribed and manage IV infusions and blood products
• Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge planning
• Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate
• One year of nursing experience required
• Current Oklahoma RN license or multistate compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS (American Heart Association)
• Associate's degree in nursing from accredited program required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills needed

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
