RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Med/Surg and Stepdown experience required
• 1 year travel experience required
• Level one preferred
• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Assist physicians in examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Interact with family and patients regarding care plans during hospitalization and discharge
• Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel
• Delegate tasks to support staff
• Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program
• Required: Current RN License issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
• Required: Current Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association
• Required: 1 year of nursing experience
• Must have knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Computer skills necessary
