Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Instruct patients regarding magnetic resonance imaging procedures and prepare them for imaging
• Position and manipulate patients to ensure appropriate placement for imaging
• Select appropriate imaging techniques and calibrate console and peripheral hardware
• Obtain images, produce film records and backups, and transfer from desktop workstation
• Inspect images for quality and completeness of examination
• Perform quality assurance on magnetic resonance equipment and laser camera
• Perform physical inventories and maintain clinical supplies
• Ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, safety standards, HIPAA and compliance regulations
• Float between departments and local locations within 20 miles as required
• Must be flexible and accustomed to fast-paced environment
• At least one 13-week previous travel assignment required
• Must have two years of MRI experience
• EPIC experience preferred (can train on-site)
• High school diploma or GED required, Associate's degree preferred
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• New Mexico state licensure in MRI required
• BLS certification through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross required
• English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing required
