Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Trauma ICU
Job Details:
• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
• Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients in trauma ICU setting
• Level one ICU trauma experience required (must have directly worked in ICU at level 1 facility for 1+ years)
• 1 year of travel experience required
• Cardiac experience required
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge planning
• Delegate tasks to support staff and make referrals as needed
• Current RN License issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association required
• ACLS (American Heart Association) certification required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Computer skills and ability to respond to cultural and language needs of patients required

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
