RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Must have level 1 trauma hospital setting and level IV NICU experience
• Must be able to float to all children's units
• Required certifications: NRP (American Heart Association) and BLS (American Heart Association)
• Current Oklahoma nursing license or current multistate compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited program required (BSN preferred)
• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Assist physicians in examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge instructions
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Computer skills required
