RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide nursing care in specialty area under general supervision
• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Interact with family and patients regarding care plans during hospitalization and discharge
• Oversee treatment provided by technicians and other service providers
• Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel
• Delegate tasks to support staff
• Experience preferred in at least 2 areas: Neuro IR, Vascular IR, or General IR
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required
• Current Basic Life Support (AHA) required upon hire
• ACLS (American Heart Association) required within 6 months of hire
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients
• Computer skills and teamwork abilities essential
