Job Details:

• Assist radiologist in performing invasive diagnostic techniques specialized to maternal fetal ultrasound processes
• Provide standardization and training to residents regarding maternal fetal ultrasound examinations
• Consult with patients and evaluate contra-indications such as medications or insufficient patient preparation
• Perform ultrasound procedures under general or direct supervision
• Conduct essential maternal-fetal ultrasound examinations including detailed anatomical evaluation, complete fetal echocardiogram, growth assessment, and fetal wellbeing assessments
• Perform biophysical profiles, maternal/fetal Doppler, amniotic fluid assessments, and needle procedure guidance
• Conduct examinations of maternal pelvic anatomy including transvaginal cervical assessment
• Utilize advanced diagnostic 3D/4D techniques
• Record anatomical, pathological and physiological data for physician interpretation
• Analyze sonography findings throughout examinations to ensure comprehensive data collection
• Three years of experience performing complex OB/GYN or vascular scans required
• Completion of twelve-month program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent certificate program required
• Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider, ARDMS registration in OB and OB GYN
• Preferred certification: Fetal Echocardiography (FE)
• English language proficiency required for reading, writing, and speaking
