RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide leadership in coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care
• Utilize nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family
• Effectively communicate pertinent patient/family information to health care team
• Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals
• May be required to float to other units including lockdown unit as location is acuity adaptable
• Overtime billed after 48 hours
• 2+ years of general med surg unit experience required
• At least one year of surgical floor experience highly preferred
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Current Michigan RN licensure required
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Must demonstrate clinical knowledge and analytical abilities for effective nursing care plans
• Ability to perform wide variety of professional nursing services
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel required
