Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Technologist II

Job Details:

• Work Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
• Provide specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patients
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician-ordered procedures
• Utilize highly specialized imaging equipment to perform diagnostic, interventional and/or surgical procedures
• Conduct post-procedure reviews to confirm completion and technical quality standards
• Transfer images and data to archival systems and enter technical findings
• Perform quality control checks, cleaning, disinfecting and user maintenance of equipment
• Provide instruction and mentor less experienced team members
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
• Must be graduate of CAAHEP accredited cardiovascular program or JRCERT accredited radiologic technology program
• CT credentials required upon hire
• AHA BLS certification required
• One year full-time experience as certified cardiovascular or radiologic technology professional preferred
• Associate's degree or higher preferred
• Must demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in stressful situations required
