Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Radiologic Technologist - Radiologic Technologist

Job Details:

• Must have operating room (OR) experience
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all aspects of General Diagnostic Radiology
• Obtain and maintain RT(R) credentials with "Active Status"
• Perform quality radiographic images on a consistent and ongoing basis
• Verify patient identity and obtain relevant patient history for examination orders
• Verify pregnancy status before administering ionizing radiation
• Assess patient physical condition and develop action plans for performing examinations
• Ensure patient demographic information, emulsion markers, and examination requests are correct
• Critique, orient, and save all pertinent images
• Transmit quality-assured images to PACS and ensure all images reach PACS
• Document completion and/or cancellation of all procedures in RIS
• Maintain image management equipment and report any equipment problems
• Use RIS, CIS, PACS, and SMS systems effectively to access information and document procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• React appropriately to emergency situations and ensure patient safety
• Required certifications: ARRT Certified in Radiography, Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider
• Must maintain registry status and continuing education requirements annually
• Required education: Accredited Associate's Degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program
• No prior experience required
• English proficiency required (read, write, speak)
