RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work in IC/Med/Surg/Tele unit utilizing Epic system
• One year of nursing experience required
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school of nursing required
• BSN or MSN from an accredited school of nursing preferred
• North Carolina RN license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards
• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Perform patient assessments including physical, psychosocial, educational and safety needs
• Perform bedside point of care testing as required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning
• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems
• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs
• Participate in professional development and unit performance improvement activities
• English proficiency required (read, write, speak)
