RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Must have prior travel experience
• Must be able to both scrub and circulate cases
• Must be very comfortable with total joint procedures
• DaVinci robot experience preferred
• Perform orthopedic cases and circulate C-sections
• Work in 4 OR suites plus additional rooms for minor procedures
• Assist with turning rooms, cleaning, and picking cases
• Work with visiting physicians for ENT, Ortho, and other specialties
• Must be a team player with positive attitude
• Expected to hit the ground running with minimal orientation
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Flexible start day with brief hospital orientation for badge and policies
• Departmental orientation and competency check-off based on skill set
• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association)
• Must obtain CPI or MOAB certification if not already certified ($150 cost for MOAB training)
• Various immunization and health requirements including TB documentation, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Tdap, Varicella, and COVID documentation
• 12-panel drug screen and background check required
• Specialty competency exam with 80% passing rate required
