RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Minimum 3-4 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Must have prior travel experience
• Experience scrubbing and circulating cases required
• Must be very comfortable with total joint cases and orthopedic procedures
• Will circulate OBGYN including C-sections, ORTHO, General, Urology, ENT procedures
• May assist with turning rooms and cleaning due to small department size
• Will sit in PACU on callback cases as second set of hands to assist during recovery period
• Work in 4 OR suites plus additional rooms for minor procedures
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association)
• Must complete CPI or MOAB certification if not already certified ($150 cost, offered on-site monthly)
• Respiratory fit test required for 3M N95 or 1860 models
• Brief hospital orientation to obtain badge and review policies, followed by department competency check-off
• Rural hospital setting working with visiting physicians for specialty clinics

The hospital features 4 OR suites plus additional rooms for minor procedures, with staff known for working well together and with surgeons. The facility hosts visiting physicians for specialty clinics including ENT and orthopedic services.
