Description
Opportunity:
RN - ICU Med Surg
Job Details:
• Perform integrated pre and post-operative critical care functions using the nursing process
• Assess patients for physical, emotional, psychological/social and family support needs
• Organize and coordinate all aspects of patient care according to patient's real and/or perceived needs
• Evaluate patient progress by correlating patient information with nursing knowledge to determine if goals are being met
• Consult and collaborate with healthcare team members in planning and implementing total patient care
• Work three weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period (Friday and Saturday)
• No on-call responsibilities
• 2+ years of SICU experience required
• Open Heart training required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Epic experience preferred
• Michigan nursing license required
• All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
