Opportunity:
Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech
Job Details:
• Contribute professional knowledge and skills as a member of the interdisciplinary team in provision and management of patient care
• Apply nursing process principles in daily patient care activities
• Guaranteed 16 hours per week with potential for 36-48 hours weekly
• Overtime billable after 40 hours (36-40 hrs/week) or after 48 hours (48 hrs/week)
• On-call requirements: every 3rd evening/week and every 3rd weekend from 7:00 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
• Limited time off requests between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26
• Must be willing to float across all Des Moines campuses to like units
• Minimum 2 years of Cath lab experience required
• Active ARRT or CCI/RCIS certification required
• Structural heart experience required
• Interventional Radiology experience strongly encouraged
• EP experience desired
• Travel experience required
• Must be able to scrub independently and proficiently
• Willingness to take call required
• Peripheral vascular experience preferred
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• EMR system: EPIC

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
