Job Details:

• 2+ years of current OR experience required
• Orthopedic, vascular, and DaVinci X1 Robot experience required
• Travel experience required
• EPIC experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Both scrub and circulate experience required
• Must have own vehicle - firm requirement
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation
• On-call requirements to be determined
• Weekend schedule to be determined
• Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care before, during, and after surgery
• Create and maintain sterile and safe surgical environment
• Perform patient assessment and pre/post-operative patient education
• Monitor patient's physical and emotional well-being throughout surgical care continuum
• Primarily circulating position with scrub experience as additional skill
• Work with pediatric through adult patient population
• Provide care in 14 operating rooms with coverage in Labor & Delivery for C-sections
• Handle all surgical specialties except cardiac and ophthalmology
• Average 50 procedures per day
• New York nursing license required
• Must complete training from approved groups (Welle, CPI, or PMCS) for onboarding
• 14 panel drug screen required within 24 hours of offer acceptance
