Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Position patients on examining table and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimum views
• Complete all routine diagnostic procedures as requested by physicians
• Move radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment into specified positions and adjust equipment controls
• Set exposure factors such as time and distance for optimal imaging
• Operate film processing equipment and mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment
• Work in operating room, emergency room, or at patient's bedside as needed
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff
• Must be proficient with fluoroscopy, digital radiography, portables, and OR c-arm equipment
• Work with patients of all age groups
• Part of shift weekend coverage and holiday coverage required if needed
• Must have own vehicle for transportation
• 2+ years current CT Tech experience in hospital setting required
• 2+ years current X-Ray Tech experience in hospital setting required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: NH License of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy, ARRT, BLS (AHA)
• Dress code: Hospital blue scrubs (provided), business casual with lab coat, or basic plain personal scrubs; closed toe shoes required; hair pulled back if longer than shoulder length; no hooded sweatshirts or dangling earrings
• Maximum 5 days requested time off accepted and must be noted at profile upload
• Local travelers within 50 miles of facility will not be considered
