Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work every other weekend/holiday rotation
• 16 hours guaranteed per week
• Float between Med Surg and Stepdown units
• Patient ratios: Days/Evenings 1:4/5, Nights 1:6
• Scrub colors required: black or navy
• Work with EPIC EMR system
• Care for all types of patients involved with med surg stepdown
• Minimum 36 months med surg/medical surgical experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Stepdown experience highly preferred
• Critical care experience preferred
• Experience administering nitro, heparin, amiodarone including titrates required
• Neurology care experience preferred
• Oncology care experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS
• Iowa nursing license or compact/multistate license required
• Clinical interview pre-screening required with 405 area code contact
• Skills checklist specific to discipline required
• Professional reference from charge/supervisor/nurse manager within 24 months preferred
