Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team contributing professional nursing knowledge and skills
• Provide and manage care to patients through application of the nursing process
• 16 hours guaranteed per week
• Work with approximately 80 patients per day
• Provide various types of treatment including SRS, SRT, SBRT, VMAT, 3D, Electrons, HyperArc (no total skin or total body)
• Work with equipment including TrueBeam, Halcyon, TrueBeam Edge
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving)
• Limit of 1 day request off between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26
• Black scrubs required
• Must have Iowa State Radiation Oncology license
• Minimum 24 months of recent/current radiation therapy experience required
• Travel experience highly preferred
• EPIC experience required
• ARIA/Eclipse experience highly preferred
• Equipment experience with TrueBeam, Halcyon, TrueBeam Edge highly preferred
• ARRT certificate with "T - radiation therapy" discipline required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Professional reference from charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director within 24 months preferred
• Valid driver's license required
