Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 7 on, 7 off schedule
• Wednesday - Friday: 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Saturday - Tuesday: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• 2+ years of CT experience required
• Toshiba or Canon experience highly preferred
• Travel work experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must live outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Required certifications: ARRT CT Certification, BLS (AHA)
• Skills checklist current within 1 year required
• 2 supervisory reference forms completed within last two years required
• Perform computerized tomographic and radiographic imaging studies following protocols
• Administer IV and oral contrast as required for procedures
• Provide radiation protection for patients, self, and others using appropriate shielding and collimation
• Perform nursing duties including sterile procedures, vital signs, clinical history, and venous puncture
• Monitor patients' physical and mental condition throughout procedures
• Differentiate between normal and abnormal anatomy and tailor exams accordingly
• Document patient data and scheduling acknowledgments appropriately
• Identify allergic reactions or urgent medical conditions and assist radiologist in treatment
