Opportunity:
Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech
Job Details:
• Conduct specialized examinations in cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular studies and/or electrophysiology studies
• Serve as lead worker and resource to medical and clinical staff to ensure maximum utilization of capabilities
• Collaborate with intra-procedure team to provide safe patient care and participate in Universal Protocol
• Assist with patient identification, preparation, draping, and room preparation for routine procedures
• Read physician orders/protocols and communicate with physicians on protocols for routine procedures
• Select equipment according to protocols and regulatory standards to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction
• Maintain and calibrate equipment, conduct preventive maintenance procedures, and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Conduct maintenance on special procedures equipment and calibrate equipment prior to each procedure
• Weekend schedule to be determined by facility
• Rotating after hours call with required Sunday rotation and maximum 30-minute commute time
• Must have 1 year experience in Special Procedures or Cath/EP cases
• Required certifications: ARRT or RCIS, ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• State of Texas Medical Radiologic License required
• Experience in critical care setting or previous Cath/EP Lab setting preferred
• Previous travel experience highly preferred
• Must disclose any previous employment history with this health system

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
