Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, structural heart, interventional radiology, diagnostic/planned intervention neuro, vascular and EP pacemaker/device procedures
• Perform pre-procedure assessment, pre-medication, documentation, post-procedure care and patient education
• Calculate cardiac output and perform hemodynamic monitoring
• Set up procedures and operate life-saving equipment including intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) and Impella
• Scrub cases and assist with sterile procedural supply management
• Transfer patients, stock supplies and perform basic office procedures
• Record pertinent information on appropriate data sheets
• Assist Radiologic Technologists in circulating cases
• Call required 10-15 days per month
• Weekend call rotation (every other weekend, potential to move to every third)
• Cath Lab RN experience required
• Experience with patient sedation required
• Travel work experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Active Michigan nursing license required
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• Skills checklist current within 1 year required
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within last two years required
