Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work with Toshiba Aquilion One 640 slice and Siemens 128 slice CT equipment
• Handle an average of 80-90 cases per 24-hour period
• Day shift has 5 CT techs, 2-3 techs staffed from 6pm to 11pm, then one tech from midnight until 6am
• Morning CT tech starts at 6am to prepare for the day
• May assist X-ray techs with morning portables when not busy
• Use EPIC EMR system, McKesson PACS, Real Radiology for after hours reading, and Clario
• Work includes many brain perfusion exams as part of stroke center accreditation
• Use RapidAI software for ICH procedures
• Patient transport assistance available from ED on first floor
• Cross-training in X-ray not required
• Must have ARRT (CT) certification and Iowa radiology license
• Minimum 24 months of CT experience in clinic or hospital setting required
• BLS certification required
• Skills checklist specific to CT/Computed Tomography required
