RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in Vascular and Interventional Radiology performing minimally invasive procedures
• 8-hour non-billable orientation required
• Weekend and holiday coverage as required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must wear personal scrubs of any color
• 2 years current Interventional Radiology/IR RN experience required
• Cardiac Cath and Electrophysiology experience required
• CCU experience required
• Defibrillation certification required
• IV skills required
• Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Massachusetts RN license required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Must function independently in high stress, work intensive environment
• Attendance at all mandatory education required
• Must have own vehicle for transportation
• Must provide at least two specific interview dates/times
• Local travelers within 50 miles of facility not eligible
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
• Perform procedures including angiograms, peripheral revascularization, hemodialysis catheter placement, nephrostomy drainage tubes, gastrostomy and jejunostomy tube placement, central line placement, vascular access procedures, pain management interventions, paracentesis/thoracentesis, and pre/post-care for biopsies
