RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Function independently under general guidance of the Director following unit-specific guidelines and protocols
• Utilize time management, communication, planning, delegating, and problem-solving skills in patient care
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and maintain emotional stability in emergency settings
• Work every other weekend with holidays required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• 8-hour non-billable orientation required
• 2 years current Med Surg experience required
• IV experience required
• BSN preferred
• PEARS (Pediatric Emergency Assessment and Stabilization) preferred
• Must have own vehicle for transportation
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• Massachusetts RN license required
• Skills checklist for Medical Surgical pertinent to position (current within 1 year) required
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required
• Block scheduling not available - facility will not consider block scheduling requests
• Maximum 5 days of requested time off accepted (less preferred)
• All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission
