Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work as scheduled with weekend coverage as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Minimum 24 months of CT experience in clinic or hospital setting required
• Must have experience with Toshiba Aquilion One 640 slice equipment
• Must have experience with Siemens 128 slice equipment (Siemens 128 Definition AS)
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
• Iowa radiology license required (will accept non-licensed candidates who must apply for license upon acceptance)
• Skills checklist specific to CT/Computed Tomography required
• Professional reference from supervisor within 24 months preferred
• Work with equipment including future replacement with X.ceed technology
• Handle average of 80-90 cases per 24-hour period
• Use EPIC EMR system and McKesson PACS
• Utilize Real Radiology for after-hours reading and Clario software
• Perform brain perfusion exams and use RapidAI software for ICH
• May assist X-ray technicians with morning portables when not busy
• Transport patients when patient transporters are unavailable

This healthcare facility operates one of the busiest emergency departments in Iowa and maintains stroke center accreditation. The imaging department features advanced CT technology and stays consistently busy during night shifts. The facility provides 24/7 coverage with multiple CT technicians during day shifts and reduced staffing overnight, supported by X-ray and ultrasound departments located nearby for collaborative patient care.
