RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing professional and clinical knowledge in patient care management
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Required to work 1-2 summer holidays out of 3 (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
• Minimum 2 years previous Med Surg RN experience required
• At least 1 completed travel contract required
• Must be comfortable with neuro patients and surgical patients within the medical surgical unit
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS
• Wisconsin nursing license required
• Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility (local candidates accepted in Madison with 10% rate reduction)
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission required
• Driver's license, work history/resume, license verification, certification copies, and 1 supervisory reference required at submission
• EMR system: EPIC
