RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide nursing care for cardiac catheterization procedures and interventions
• Work with heart catheterizations, coronary and peripheral angioplasties and stents
• Manage patients requiring lytics, embolizations, and Impella device support
• Assist with structural heart procedures including ASD and VSD repairs
• Support TEEs/cardioversions, tilt table testing, and pacemaker/ICD procedures
• Participate in EP studies and complex ablations, especially A Fib procedures
• Assist with thoracenteses, paracenteses, and tunneled catheter placements
• Provide pre and post procedure patient care and holding experience
• On-call requirement: one day per week and one weekend per month
• Weekend work only when on-call and called in
• Previous Cath Lab experience required
• Strong cardiac proficiency required
• STEMI experience required
• Experience with Phillips and Cerner systems preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Michigan nursing license required
