Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Primary focus on CT scanning with X-ray experience also required
• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and critical thinking
• Apply appropriate skills to facilitate diagnosis with initiative
• May be assigned independent responsibilities by Lead Technologist, Administrative Director, Operations Manager, or Facility Director
• Perform primary diagnostic Radiology and CT Scan tasks including IV insertion and injections
• Demonstrate proper operation of PACS, HIS and RIS computer systems
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, CT, and PACs applications
• Practice infection control in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Complete annual mandatory education including blood borne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation
• Maintain department competencies as required
• Excellent communication skills in written, verbal and Tiger Text format required
• May be responsible for supervision or instruction to department personnel
• Must be willing to consider other duties during low census (within scope of practice)
• Weekend and holiday coverage required if needed
• On-call responsibilities to be determined
• 2 years current CT/X-Ray experience required
• Previous travel experience required (at least 6 months or more)
• Current agency experience required (at least 6 months to 1 year or more)
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT (CT) and (R), BLS (AHA)
• Massachusetts Radiology License required
• Must have own vehicle for transportation
• Must reside more than 50 miles from facility
