RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with 16-hour NBO (nights, breaks, overtime) schedule
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless unit is closed
• On-call schedule: 1 night per week and up to 1 weekend per month
• Billable overtime after 40 hours per week (36-40 hrs/week standard, OT billable after 40; 48 hrs/week, OT billable after 48)
• Work with advanced robotics equipment including DaVinci Xi, Mako, and Rosa systems
• Maintain 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio in 14-bed operating room unit
• Use EPIC electronic medical records system
• Minimum 24 months of operating room experience required
• Proficient experience required in: DaVinci robotics, orthopedic procedures including total joints, and general surgery
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Spine experience highly preferred
• Travel experience within previous 15 months required
• Scrub experience preferred
• Mako and Rosa equipment experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required
• Professional reference from charge/supervisor/nurse manager within 24 months required
