RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work every other weekend schedule
• 16-hour NBO (needs-based overtime) requirement
• Float between Med Surg and Stepdown units
• Patient ratios: Days/Evenings 1:4/5, Nights 1:6
• Care for all types of medical surgical and stepdown patients
• Scrub colors: black or navy
• Work with EPIC EMR system
• Administer medications including nitro, heparin, and amiodarone with titration requirements
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
• Minimum 36 months progressive care, stepdown, or medical surgical experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Stepdown experience preferred
• Critical care experience nice to have
• Neurology and oncology care experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS
• Iowa nursing license required
• Clinical interview pre-screening required with 405 area code contact
• Skills checklist specific to progressive care, stepdown, or medical surgical required
