Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Perform both CT scanning and X-ray procedures
• Work every weekend as part of regular schedule
• No on-call responsibilities
• 2 years of CT Tech experience required
• ARRT certification required
• Explain scanning procedures to patients, answer questions, and review medical histories
• Verify physician orders and prepare patients for procedures
• Calibrate, warm up, and operate specialized CT scanning machinery
• Adhere to safety protocols and ALARA principles for radiation protection
• Screen patients for contrast allergies and safely administer oral or IV contrast materials
• Position patients correctly on scanner table using precise radiation shielding techniques
• Review, analyze, and optimize digital files for clarity and accuracy
• Maintain and update patient charts and procedural details in electronic health records and PACS systems
• Ensure image quality assurance before sending images to radiologists for diagnostic evaluation
