Opportunity:

RN - Acute Care Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work full-time position with 36 hours per week plus 2 on-call shifts every 4 weeks
• Rotational schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Provide direct patient care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations with medical conditions
• Apply nursing knowledge and skills in care delivery including patient assessment and care planning
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
• Provide patient and family education for self-care beyond hospitalization
• Administer medications and perform nursing interventions
• Document patient care and education provided
• Participate in quality improvement activities and self-evaluation of practice
• Required certifications: NYS RN Licensure, BLS, ACLS (AHA or RQI only), NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year experience in Med/Surg environment as a Registered Nurse required
• Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens reasonably anticipated
