Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with no weekends
• Guaranteed 35 hours per week after breaks
• 13-week assignment duration
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• New York RN license required
• EPIC EMR system experience required
• Support coordination, integration, communication, implementation and evaluation of nursing practice and clinical policies
• Participate in quality and performance improvement activities
• Collect patient healthcare data using appropriate assessment techniques
• Collaborate with licensed providers to develop patient-centered care plans
• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests
• Collect patient health history and record information in electronic health records
• Provide patient and family education regarding test results and treatment plans
• Administer medications including vaccinations, IV therapy, and oxygen administration
• Provide comprehensive wound care and perform patient triage
• Assess and monitor patient responses to treatments, procedures, and anesthesia
• Consult with clinical supervisors and licensed providers for treatment planning
• Direct, supervise, and delegate to licensed practical nurses and medical assistants
• Perform onsite testing including POC lab testing, EKG, and specimen collection
• Assist with minor and major procedures
• Manage clinical in-baskets and ensure encounters are closed timely
• Perform in-person and phone triage for patient clinical concerns
