Opportunity:

RN - Acute Care Med Surg

Job Details:

• Full-time position working 36 hours per week
• Rotational schedule including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Provide high-quality compassionate care to medical/surgical patients and families
• Develop specialized skills in cardiac care including telemetry monitoring
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary team
• Provide direct patient care, evaluate progress, and coordinate care delivery
• Conduct patient and family education for self-care beyond hospitalization
• Administer medications and perform nursing interventions
• Maintain competencies for assigned patient population
• Participate in quality improvement activities and professional development
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• New York State RN licensure required
• One year of experience in Med/Surg environment as a Registered Nurse required
• Must comply with infection prevention strategies and safety protocols
• Participate in patient rounds per protocol using appropriate tools and equipment
